MSN: Nurse-Midwifery
Make a difference
Midwives are recognized as the answer to the US maternity care crisis of devastatingly poor maternal and newborn outcomes and huge disparities. Midwives make a difference because they individualize care, addressing both the physical and the psychosocial needs of patients and their families.
This high-touch approach results in…
- fewer preterm births and low birth weight babies
- fewer interventions and Cesarean sections
- successful & extended breastfeeding
- greater patient satisfaction
- enhanced passion for Midwifery care
At GW Nursing, the MSN: Nurse-Midwifery program will prepare you to make a difference for mothers, babies, and families throughout the childbearing cycle and for women from menarche to menopause.
Why GW Nursing?
The faculty at GW Nursing believes all people deserve equitable & high-quality health care and are dedicated to educating midwives who are passionate about providing patient-centered, respectful care that promotes trust, resulting in better outcomes, fewer disparities, and greater patient satisfaction.
