Our Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) pathways emphasize key nursing practice competencies and innovation. We develop registered nurses into advanced practice leaders and interprofessional team members providing care for adolescent and adult patients with acute and chronic conditions.
With a focus on high-intensity environments and fast-paced critical thinking skills, you will be prepared to work in a variety of clinical settings, including urgent care centers, critical care units and inpatient medical-surgical or specialty units.

AGACNP Pathway Options
Master of Science in Nursing
Offers BSN-prepared registered nurses the opportunity to expand their scope of practice and receive additional certification as an AGACNP.
Doctor of Nursing Practice
Prepares BSN-prepared registered nurses to graduate and function as doctorally prepared nurses; expanding their scope of practice to include the critical care needs of adolescent and adult patients.
Post-Graduate Certificate
Offers registered nurses that already have an advanced degree the opportunity to expand their scope of practice and receive additional certification.
