"While working primary care and during a few of my clinical rotation shifts, I have had a chance to be in the company of FNP students form tother universities and felt uneasy about the lack of clinical skills and preparedness that some of them had, as a result of lacking education from the establishment. As a student, of course, sometimes the lighter workload from other schools seems enticing, but would not allow us to achieve the same level of knowledge and confidence that is given at GW and needed to thrive independently after graduation. I am happy with my decision to attend the GWU FNP program, not as the easy option, but as the smart one!"
