Become a Nurse Leader

Our DNP in Executive Leadership pathway develops registered nurses into advanced practice leaders, providing direction and guidance to healthcare teams and organizations. With a focus on leadership development, we train students to think and act strategically, participate in policy decisions, and lead organizations through change and improvement.

Coursework emphasizes intrapreneurial and entrepreneurial approaches to leadership and covers several business functions in clinical practice management, including trends and leadership methods within the healthcare system, healthcare coaching, quality measures, population health, health information technology, health economics, and finance. You will also study research methods and current policy issues and participate in leadership practicum experiences.
